Once again coming in to say that men punching women is not self defense, it's just opportunistic assault.

Self defense i pnly applies to the necessary force needed to eliminate a threat. Breaking someone's skull for slapping you goes beyond necessary force.

This is the issue I have with "the left needs to speak to men and young boys more" because the left is honestly too forgiving of men and boys. They are hardly written off or abandoned. So what they mean is the left needs to make men and boys more comfortable, which is a problem when the thing that is making them uncomfortable is womens liberation and the loss of the relationships, housewives and emotional labour that they feel entitled to. Because by "the left needs to speak to men" they mean "lay off the fucking feminism."

even if all these things were 100% true and every single detransitioner was warned a trillion times and didnt do research about t (which isnt their responsability btw its your doctor the one that should be going with you over every little thing and explaining medical jargon clearly), it is NEVER the fault of the patient if the medical professional(s) don't assess the problem correctly and give you a treatment that doesn't solve your issue. i don't care how many hoops anyone has to jump through, doctors are the ones whose literal job is looking out for their patients and making sure they get the treatment they actually need.

'if in those 52 weeks you didn't research that's on you' to reiterate, as prev said, it is never, never the fault of the patient if they do not understand a medical procedure. it is not informed consent if they don't know the effects before going in. if a patient didn't understand a procedure adequately and it is giving effects they didn't sign up for, it should immediately be stopped by the doctor. again, this is not on the patient. this is basic medical consent 101

My friend who died after phallo complications, she talked about her misgivings beforehand - her social group told her that her only options for ever being happy again was surgery. One literally said "Surgery or suicide? Your call"

And then when everything went horribly wrong, and she tried to post on reddit, on discord - she was blocked, harassed, ostracised.

How can you blame detransitioners?? They're being railroaded into transition by people deleting posts about the negatives of hormones and surgery! They're being given scripts by the "community" to "overcome" the medical steps put into place to prevent this exact outcome!

stating that all detransitioners are lying is a bold move how do you know claiming that everyone has to do their research and that it's on them while being misinformed yourself is also cool

That's one thing I like about older movies (older as in from the 70s), the actors often just look like actual, regular people.

Like, look at the cast from Alien (1979)

They look like people you would see in a grocery store.
Compare that to the low-hanging fruit that is avengers:

Even if you ignore the ridicules costumes, those aren't regular people, these people are models and body builders who got prepped by professional makeup artists for hours.
They look artificial, they look staged, they look fake. And worst of all: they look completely unrelatable like they're from a slightly different species that always has perfect hair and flawless skin because it was grown in a lab or something.

It just shows you how much hollywood has warped beauty standards in the past few decades, and now all these fucking influencers try to look just as fake.
